The Tiberium
Permanent Multimedia Shows · Yigal Alon Promenade, Tiberias, Israel — 2025

§ Design note
- 01A Show on the Water. Light, water, and projection turn the open surface of the Sea of Galilee into a stage, giving Tiberias a nightly spectacle visible the length of the promenade.
- 02Water as a Screen. Fountains and fine water mist become surfaces for projected color and imagery, so the medium of the show is the water itself.
- 03Renewed Waterfront. After years out of action, the restored show returns the promenade's signature attraction, drawing visitors and evening life back to the Tiberias waterfront.

§ Technical notes
- 01Fountain & Light Integration. Underwater and aimed fixtures are synchronized with the fountains and water jets so color reads cleanly along the moving water.
- 02Water-Screen Projection. Video is mapped onto sheets of water mist, with projection and water output tuned together so the imagery holds on a moving surface.
- 03Scene Control. Programmable scenes synchronize fountains, lighting, lasers, and the musical score across the show's nightly programs.
- 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for continuous operation in an open-water environment, with the corrosion, weather, and maintenance demands of the Sea of Galilee.
