  1. 01Heritage & Contemporary City. The lighting creates a respectful dialogue between the synagogue’s historic and spiritual identity and its role as an active public landmark in modern Jerusalem.
  2. 02Monumental Facade. Light emphasizes the scale, rhythm, and vertical composition of the main facade, allowing the building to read clearly and powerfully after dark.
  3. 03Architectural Detail. The design reveals stone texture, facade relief, entrance elements, and vertical openings, giving depth and hierarchy to the synagogue’s exterior composition.

§ Technical notes
  1. 01Exterior Lighting Only. The project scope focuses on the exterior architectural lighting of the building facade and architectural elements; no interior lighting was included.
  2. 02Facade Illumination. Lighting layers are positioned to emphasize the main stone surfaces, vertical architectural lines, entrance zone, and upper facade elements.
  3. 03Glare Control. Fixture aiming and optics are planned to reduce glare for visitors, pedestrians, and the surrounding public space.
  4. 04Heritage Integration. Equipment is integrated carefully into the exterior environment to support long-term operation, maintenance access, and minimal visual clutter.
