§ Design note
- 01Structural Expression. The lighting highlights the external structural system of the velodrome, allowing the steel construction and overall form to read clearly after dark.
- 02Decorative Night Identity. Light gives the building a distinctive decorative night-time identity, strengthening its presence as a public sports venue and urban landmark.
- 03Color and Event Presence. The design allows the velodrome to appear dynamic and memorable at night, with lighting that can support special scenes and celebratory atmospheres.






§ Technical notes
- 01Exterior Lighting Only. The project scope focuses on decorative lighting for the external structure and facade; interior lighting was not part of the project.
- 02Structural Lighting Integration. Lighting fixtures are coordinated with the external steel structure to emphasize the geometry, rhythm, and depth of the facade system.
- 03Dynamic Control. The lighting system can support programmed scenes and color-changing effects for sports events, ceremonies, and special occasions.
- 04Outdoor Durability. Equipment is selected for long-term exterior operation, maintenance access, and reliable performance in a large public sports venue.
