Azrieli HaNegev Mall
Facades · Beer Sheva, Israel — 2017

§ Design note
- 01Media Facade Identity. Light turns the mall's envelope into the building's main night-time identity, giving Azrieli HaNegev a strong, recognizable presence across Beer Sheva after dark.
- 02Programmable Expression. A full-color LED system lets the facade change with the calendar - everyday color, holidays, events, and short clips - so the building's appearance stays alive and current.
- 03Civic Landmark. Beyond retail, the lit facade gives the city a shared visual event, marking the mall as a gathering point and a landmark on the Negev skyline.

§ Technical notes
- 01RGB LED Facade. Roughly 7,500 individually controlled color LEDs are integrated across the building envelope to form a continuous media surface.
- 02Dynamic Control. A control system runs programmable scenes, color changes, clips, and full light shows across the facade.
- 03Visual Hierarchy. Brightness and content are balanced so the media effect reads clearly at city scale without overwhelming the streets and shoppers below.
- 04Exterior Integration. Fixtures and wiring are integrated into the facade and selected for long-term outdoor operation, maintenance access, and the Negev climate.
